π Katrin holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from KU Leuven, one of Belgium’s leading universities, with a specialisation in psychoanalysis and sexology. This academic foundation gives her deep insight into human behaviour and relationships.
π± In addition, she completed training in existential counselling and coaching at KU Leuven, as well as a four-year professional training in body-oriented psychotherapy at the Newman Academy in the Netherlands β at the time a leading institution for body-oriented therapy.
π‘ Advanced training and supervision: Katrin’s qualifications are further strengthened by advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), widely recognised as the gold standard in relationship therapy. Her expertise is grounded in attachment science and evidence-based outcomes.
π§© She has also completed levels 1 and 2 of Individual EFT (EFIT), as well as extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other trauma-oriented approaches β most recently the training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

Training background
π Kim is a certified counsellor in body-centred psychotherapy from the Newman Academy in the Netherlands. This grounding in body-oriented work gives a strong experiential foundation to his therapeutic approach.
π He has also obtained additional certifications at University Colleges Leuven-Limburg in contextual work, client-centred work, systemic work, developmental psychology, psychopathology and psychoanalysis. His background in systemic and context-oriented work also covers working with families and counselling around parenting issues.
π‘ Kim’s expertise has been further deepened by in-depth training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and EFIT, the more recent individual application of EFT.
π§© He has also recently completed advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) for trauma. He is trained as a coach in family and organisational constellations and is experienced in outdoor therapy, also known as Walk & Talk Therapy.
